10 Things to Know When You Enroll at Camp NAC

Choosing where your camper will spend their summer is a tough decision. After deciding on Camp NAC in beautiful Bucks County, you know that you have signed your camper up for their best summer ever! You have chosen their weeks and which camps they will be attending, but there is still a few more things to know before drop off on that first day of camp. Find out the top 10 things that you should know when you sign your camper up for the best camp in Bucks County:
 

  1. Switching weeks is easy! If your camper decides they want to be the next celebrity chef, but are signed up for NACster when Junior Chef is offered—no problem! Switch your camp weeks as often as you need for FREE up until May 1. Afterwards, it’s just a $20 processing fee to make a change!
  1. Campers love the pool—and you will too! As an additional bonus, all of our campers and their families are welcome to enjoy our beautiful outdoor pool complex every Friday from 3:00-8:00pm (excluding 4th of July weekend).
  1. The Camp NAC crew is the best! All of our Camp NAC team members go through extensive training to make sure your camper has their best summer ever. All of our staff qualifications include First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications and a minimum of four years working with children. In addition, our management team all have or are pursuing degrees in education, have over six years of experience and is CPI certified.
  1. Campers love our facility! Last year, Camp NAC made the move into our own building at the NAC Sports Training Center. This 40,000 square foot facility is fully turfed for campers to enjoy. In addition to our main camp facility, campers also love our outdoor pool complex, featuring two water slides, a water gymnasium, splash pad and lazy river. Camp NAC also offers campers plenty of outdoor space and full use of the Newtown Athletic Club facilities.
  1. Camp NAC is allergy-friendly! In order to accommodate all of our campers to the best of our abilities, Camp NAC is a 100% nut free camp. (Tip: If your camper loves peanut butter, a great substitute is allergy-friendly sunflower butter! Be sure to label your sandwich so counselors can easily identify this safe snack.)
  1. Camp NAC can help your camper achieve their goals! With after-camp programs including swim lessons and our brand new summer enrichment program, your camper can easily build skills. Instructional swim lessons are a great after-camp option for campers looking to pass the swim test. Campers can also get help with their school summer packets from our trained tutors in the summer enrichment program.
  1. Your camper can explore new places! If your camper is enrolled in Camp NACster, they have the option to go on weekly field trips for an additional cost. Trips this summer include the zoo, Please Touch Museum, Giggleberry Fair and more! Teen campers enrolled in Teen Travel camp will also have the chance to go on trips twice a week at no additional cost!
  1. More weeks equals more savings! With Camp NAC’s multi-week discount, when your camper signs up for six or more weeks, you save. Enroll in six weeks and save 5%, eight weeks and save 8%, or 10 weeks and save 10%.
  1. Extend the fun beyond a regular camp day! Camp NAC offers plenty of ways to extend your camper’s day beyond just 9:00-3:00. Get an early start in Before Care from 7:00-9:00am or stay later from 3:00-6:00pm in After Care. Half day campers can extend their day from 9:00-11:30am with Lunch Bunch until 1:00pm or Mid-Day care until 3:00pm. There are so many ways to customize your campers day to make their experience better!
