Camp Catch Up: Week 2

Each week, be sure to check out our Camp Catch Up on Friday to see what our campers have been up to all week!
We were so excited for our second week here at Camp NAC — one of Bucks County’s best camps! We welcomed about 100 campers for a full week of fun! Some highlights from this week included our first week of our new sports camps, the first field trip of the summer and more! See what other awesome activities Week 2 had to offer:
Half Day Specialty
The half day specialty camps offered this week were Junior Lego and Princess camp.
Our Junior Lego campers had a a blast this week building their own personal structures with legos. Throughout the week, campers worked together to express their creativity. At the end of the week, campers combined their creations to build a giant Lego City.
The little princesses in this week’s Princess camp got the royal treatment! Campers practiced their princess waves, learned the princess song and even hosted a royal tea party, attended by Miss Amanda! This week was quite a fairytale.
Full Day Specialty
This week’s full day specialty camp was Sports of All Sorts! Campers were able to participate in a different sport each day for a week full of sports fun! Campers had a blast playing dodgeball, basketball, soccer, football and more! They also got to create some cool sports crafts and play games.
Sports Camps
Gymnastics campers had so much fun in this week’s sports camp! They spent the whole week with our gymnastics coaches, building up skills and working to develop more strength and flexibility. Gymnasts had the opportunity to practice on all apparatus, including trampoline, floor exercise, uneven bars, balance beam, vault, rings and rope. We’re hoping to see some of our gymnastics campers back for some more fun next week!
Leaders in Training
This was the first week for our brand new Leader in Training camp! LITs got a taste of the whole summer ahead with a Mini LIT theme. LITs practiced communication skills, conflict resolution, cooking, goal setting and business management throughout the week. We can’t wait for the summer ahead to expand more on these topics and more with our LITs.
NACster
Our NACster campers enjoy a different theme each day of the week to participate in a variety of activities.
On Monday, campers spent their morning racing through an obstacle course!
Campers transformed into ferocious tigers or showed off their team spirit during face-painting day!
Spending some time away from Camp NAC on Wednesday, campers traveled to Adventureland for a fun game of mini golf! Campers can add on optional field trips every week in NACster.
Our campers made a splash on Thursday, playing water games like a water balloon toss, sponge & bucket and more!
Friday was Bring a Friend to Camp Day! Campers enrolled in Camp NACster had the opportunity to spend the day with their best friends. What a fun way to end the week!

NAC STARS
Our NAC STARS for Week 2 were Dakota from Junior Lego camp and Alex from Sports of All Sorts camp!
Our boy NACSTAR is Alex from Sports of All Sorts camp! Alex is a great listener and was a great sport this week in camp. Great job, Alex!
Our girl NACSTAR is Dakota! This is Dakota’s second week here at Camp NAC. Dakota was nominated by Mr. Kieran. Dakota is always super caring and does a great job making sure her friends are having a blast at camp.
This week’s Counselor of the Week was Mr. Brett. This is Brett’s first summer working at Camp NAC and is doing an amazing job so far. This week, Mr. Brett worked with our Sports of All Sorts campers and had a blast playing with the campers and teaching them new skills. Mr. Brett is great working with the kids and making sure everyone is showing great sportsmanship. Keep up the great work Brett!
