  • Campers enrolled in our sports camps have a real interest in developing skills in their sport. Each day in sports camps, campers will spend time in the morning and afternoon practicing, going through drills, and building skills within that sport. Throughout the week, campers will participate in scrimmages and games to practice the skills they’re working on. Sports campers have a real interest in pursuing the sport in the future, or already play.

 Competitive Sports – Ages: 6-12

What does competitive sports look like?

  • Our competitive sports are skill concentrated and provide intensive training for athletes. We have a hands-on approach that will help athletes improve their skills and learn new ones. These camps are best fit for children who love to be active and enjoy the outdoors.

Week 2

  • Gymnastics: Jump right in for a week of gymnastics fun! Campers will spend their day learning new skills on trampoline, floor exercise, uneven bars, vault, balance beam, rings and rope. At the start of the week, campers will be split by level of experience, however all skill levels are welcome. Be sure to wear appropriate gymnastics attire for camp each day.

Week 3

  • Gymnastics: See Week 2
  • Soccer: Take your soccer skills to the next level! Campers will learn basic skills and techniques of soccer while still having a blast. At the beginning of the week campers will be divided into groups based on age and skill. Campers will practice drills like dribbling the ball between cones and passing the ball, all while learning the rules of the game.
  • Tae Kwon Do: NAC Tae Kwon Do (TKD) is a fun sport and martial art the builds self confidence and athletic ability. This camp is under the direction of Grand Master Robert Smith, TKD 8th Degree Black Belt. Students of all levels are welcome! Campers will work on blocks, kicks, punches and forms. Introduce your child to this disciplined sport and watch them learn self control and perseverance.

Week 4

  • Basketball: Spend your day on the court learning how to perfect your basketball game. This camp will teach the basic fundamentals of basketball, including dribbling, passing and shooting. Campers will have fun competing in scrimmages and drills, building up their skills at the same time. At the beginning of the week, campers will be divided based on age and skill level. It is sure to be a slam dunk of a week!
  • Flag Football: Get ready for a week of football fun! During this week, campers will learn new skills through a variety of drills and scrimmages. Flag football is a great non-contact alternative to traditional football, which allows campers to grow and practice new techniques in a safe environment. At the end of the week, campers can show off what they learned in one final game!

Week 6 

  • Football Academy: This camp is dedicated to complete youth development through football for on and off field achievement. Our training camps are ideal for junior campers between the ages of 6-12 of all abilities and skill levels. We provide goal-oriented, position-specific training, as well as physical and mental conditioning. With positional specific curriculum, your child will be taught the keys for success both on and off the football field. This camp will ensure your athlete experiences improvement on every level.
  • Rock Starz All Star Cheer: Calling all campers of all different levels who love cheer competition! This camp will be challenging yet gratifying. Campers will learn the elements of stunts, dance, flexibility, jumps and lots of tumbling! Our coaches are certified and trained in every aspect of cheerleading in tumbling. This is a competitive style of cheer, no side line cheers will be taught or practiced.

Week 7

  • Competitive Swim: Improve your strokes, skills and techniques in our indoor pool! This camp serves as a way to strengthen overall swim performance, work on start and end techniques, speed training and core strength. Compete against other campers in a friendly competition style week.
  • Football Academy: See Week 3
  • Jr Golfers: Clubs, tees and swing galore! Campers will learn basic fundamentals of golf such as putting, chipping, pitching, full swing with irons and woods. Campers will spend time at the NAC’s In Club Golf studio, outdoor fields, and three days on a golf course.

Week 8

  • Intro to Softball: Batter up! From catching to throwing to swinging the bat, campers can improve every aspect of their game. We have a hands-on approach that will help improve basic skills and learn new ones. This week of fun will motivate players to improve their knowledge of the game, as well as build a strong sense of teamwork. Campers can look forward to playing a softball game at the end of the week.

Leisure Sports – Ages: 6-12

What does leisure sports look like?

  • Our leisure sports are structured similar to a physical education class, and our primary purpose is to create a fun environment, while staying active.

Week 2

  • Backyard Sports: Lead your team to victory in this fun week, filled with your favorite field games. Wiffle ball, kickball, Frisbee and relay races are just a few of the classic backyard games that campers will enjoy. Break up into teams for some friendly competition and get ready to get active. This camp is about having fun and working together as campers get to explore tons of indoor and outdoor sports games.

Week 3

  • Sports Xtravaganza: Calling all sports lovers! This sports camp is perfect for campers who can never pick just one favorite sport. Get ready for a week full of sports action. Counselors will break down athletic skills and encourage campers to work as a team. Campers, it’s time to get your game face on and get ready to play a variety of sports and competitions!

Week 4

  • Xtreme Warrior: Are you ready to test your endurance and prove that you are the most extreme warrior? This fitness camp will have a schedule jam-packed with obstacles courses, relay races, sports games and other fun activities designed to test each camper’s stamina! A Parisi Speed School class and a mini Spartan Race are just two of the competitions that these warriors will participate in. Campers, get ready to sweat in this week of physical fun.

  • Sports Xtravaganza: See Week 3

Week 6 

  • Water Palooza: Dive on in and cool off in this splashtastic camp! Campers can expect lots of water fun-filled activities during this week like Slip ‘N Slid, water balloons, water relays, and having a blast in the NAC outdoor pool complex. This week campers will soak up the sun while they’re splishin’ and splashin’ all while they’re laughing!

  • Water Palooza: See Week 6

Week 8

  • Raq at the NAC: Getting back to the NAC’s roots! Children will be introduced to a variety of racquet sports such as Badminton, Tennis and Pickle Ball. They will learn basic concepts for each sport as well as how to handle, hit and serve with a racquet. Singles and doubles matches will be played at the end of the week once they have fully learned the skills.

Week 9

  • Boys Rule: Boys will be boys! Campers should be prepared to get a little messy in this week’s activities. Gather your squad and see if you can survive in a giant nerf gun war. After a day full of activities, campers can kick back by making cool crafts including cardboard rockets and more. Even the most energetic boys will be worn out by the end of the week!

Week 11

  • Cinderella Warrior Challenge: Is your little princess ready to get her hands dirty? Look no further than this girls-only boot camp! Princesses should get ready to break a sweat during a busy week of fitness fun. Campers will work on their speed and agility during a Parisi Speed School session, obstacle course and dance classes. Learn the best way to refuel during a visit from the NAC’s Registered Dietitian, then put their knowledge to test creating healthy smoothies.
