A Day In The Life Of A Camp NACster
At approximately 9:00 am camp NACsters begin checking for the day and getting their wristbands! They begin their day by playing circle games with their counselors and begin making new friends and spending time with old ones! Our camp NACster manager, Miss Emily, has worked hard to develop a schedule that engages your camper, keeps them active, and most importantly, keeps up the summer FUN!
Camp NACster is broken up by age into five color groups:
- Yellow – Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
- Orange – First Grade
- Purple – Second Grade
- Green – 3rd and 4th Grade
- Blue – 5th through 7th Grade
Today our camp NAC interns spent some time with the yellow group during their morning activities.
Part of their morning schedule was:
10:00-10:40 Gaga Tournament
10:40-11:00 Ships and Sailors
11:00-11:20 Giants, Wizards and Trolls
11:20-11:40 Sleeping Animals
11:40-12:00 Story Time
They have so much fun being active and getting to play games, have a snack, go swimming at the water park and eating lunch outside!
We asked some of our yellow NACsters what their favorite part of camp NACster is and they said:
“Going swimming,”
“Lunch outside.”
“Playing games, especially wonderball!”
“The outdoor water slide.”
“Musical chairs.”
Are you interested in our camp NACster? Not only do they get to play a variety of games all week long, but they also get to go on a field trip every Wednesday!
