New Regional Wellness Committee, Founded by Camp NAC Director
American Camp Association: Keystone Wellness Committee, founded by Brianne Feinour.
Congratulations to our Camp Director, Brianne Feinour, for developing the Keystone Wellness Committee for the American Camp Association. We are so proud of you!
“In today’s society, self-care is important! Children and adults are learning ways to deal with day-to-day stress and anxiety in their own way. Through camp programming, children and staff learn to not only be independent, but they gain social skills, confidence, self-esteem, and creativity; in addition to improving their overall mental health and well-being.”
American Camp Association
The American Camp Association (ACA) is a community of camp professionals who, for over 100 years, have joined together to share their knowledge and experience to ensure the quality of camp programs. Due to the American Camp Association’s diverse 10,000 plus membership and exceptional programs, children and adults across the country have the opportunity to learn powerful lessons in community, character-building, skill development, and healthy living — lessons that can be learned nowhere else.
The mission of the American Camp Association is enriching the lives of children, youth and adults through the camp experience. Camp NAC shares the same mission of this nationwide association by displaying value in the world, the people who live in it, and the contribution each individual can make.
Camp Accreditation
Camp NAC is an official accredited summer camp by the American Camp Association. ACA is the only national accrediting body for camps of all types. ACA’s accreditation standards focus on health, safety, and risk management, and are used as benchmarks by government entities. ACA accreditation provides public evidence of a camp’s commitment to the well-being of campers and staff.
