From Campers To Counselors

Camp NAC is always excited to see familiar faces each and every summer. The most exciting part is seeing our campers succeed and grow, eventually becoming counselors. We are fortunate to have Ryan and Spencer on our team after years of being Camp NAC campers.
Ryan is 16 years old and he attends Pennsbury High School. When Ryan is not busy studying or being a camp counselor, he enjoys playing baseball. Ryan began Camp NAC when he was 10 years old and this is his first year as a counselor. He has been coming back all of these years because he has a great time  at camp and loves making new friends. Some of his favorite memories as a camper were playing dodge ball and meeting current and previous camp NAC  staff: Katherine, Zach, Sam, and Amanda. We asked Ryan if he had any advice for his campers and he said, “If YOU make camp fun, you will also have fun so you need to keep a really positive attitude and you’ll have the best summer.”
Spencer attends Council Rock North High School and plays soccer in his free time. Spencer has been coming to Camp NAC since he was 8 years old and this is his second year being a camp counselor. Spencer loves coming back each year because most of his summers have been spent here and he couldn’t imagine having a fun summer without Camp NAC. His favorite memory here is getting close with his campers and seeing them come back the following summer. Spencer’s advice is to, “play the games because the counselors make them really fun.”
We are thankful for Ryan and Spencer’s hard work and we are looking forward to having fun with them again next summer!
