There are 6 days left until the start of Camp NAC’s summer! To countdown these last few days, we are sharing the top 10 things happening this summer at Camp NAC. Keep checking in every day for the next 6 days to see what we have in store for our lucky campers this summer.
6. Teen Camps
Camp NAC is super excited for our teen campers to find out what awesome things we have in store for them this coming summer!
This summer, our two successful teen camp programs are back and better than ever! Both our CIT Program and Teen Travel Camp are open to our older campers who want to enrich their camp experience and also make lasting memories during the summer.
The first program that Camp NAC offers for teens is the Counselor in Training (CIT) Program. This camp is offered for teens ages 12-15 that have a real interest in developing leadership skills and working with children. Participants in the CIT Program are able to act as role models to younger campers by spending a portion of their day shadowing and assisting Camp NAC counselors. Each week the CITs will be focused on a different theme, including conflict resolution, communication skills, babysitting, and more.
While CIT campers will get the opportunity to learn and develop their skills, it does not mean that they are missing out on any of the fun! CITs will still be able to play games, create arts and crafts, swim in the outdoor pool complex, go on field trips, and more! Campers that participate in the CIT program will get the best of both worlds when it comes to learning how to be a leader for younger campers and still having a fun-filled summer.
Teen Travel Camp is also a great experience for teens ages 11-15 who love to explore and see new places. Each week, teen campers will travel to two different popular destinations on field trips during their camp day. Whether they are rafting down the Delaware River at Bucks County River Country, racing around on the speedway while Go-carting, or riding the roller coasters at Great Adventure, teens will have a blast exploring on their field trips.
When teen travel campers aren’t away on trips, they will spend their day at Camp NAC participating in a variety of activities including laser combat, glow in the dark Zumba, aerial yoga and more! Teen travel campers also will get to participate in the Camp NAC favorite, Color Wars. On the days that teen campers are at the NAC, they will also get to swim every day in the outdoor pool area.
No matter which program teen campers decide to participate in, they are sure to have their best summer ever!
