There are 5 days left until the start of Camp NAC’s summer! To countdown these last few days, we are sharing the top 10 things happening this summer at Camp NAC. Keep checking in every day for the next 5 days to see what we have in store for our lucky campers this summer.
5. Field Trips!
Campers enrolled in our variety camp Camp NACster have the opportunity to attend optional field trips each week. Every Wednesday throughout the summer, campers who are signed up for the field trip will prepare for a fun-filled day at a variety of destinations around Bucks County and beyond! Field trips take place during weeks 2-11 for Camp NACster.
This summer, we have added some new field trip destinations in addition to some old favorites. One exciting new field trip option that Camp NAC has added this year is a trip to see a dazzling laser light show at the New Jersey State Planetarium. On another new field trip this summer, campers will get a private tour of the Trenton Thunder baseball stadium.
Along with offering exciting new field trips, we are bringing back some of the past camper favorite trips. Campers will be able to visit Shady Brook Farms, where they can enjoy the fresh air and pick their own strawberries to bring home. There will also be a trip to the Camden Aquarium, Giggleberry Fair, Churchville Nature Center, and more! During Color Games week, campers will also take a trip to Tyler State Park for a special picnic lunch. No matter what your camper is interested, they are sure to have a blast on one of Camp NAC’s field trips.
In addition to the trips offered for our NACster campers, teen campers enrolled in the Teen Travel Camp program will be able to go on field trips twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays. Some of these field trips will be the same as NACster trips, however there will be special trips that are different than those offered for the younger campers. Teen campers will climb to new heights at the Doylestown Rock Gym, relax by the ocean at Belmar Beach, ride the roller coasters at Great Adventures, and even more! Teen Travel camp is available weeks 3-11.
