Good Luck to Camp Manager Alex!

This week, Camp NAC will say goodbye and good luck to one of our amazing members of the camp leadership team. Alex Davies, one of the managers here at Camp NAC, will have his last day on Thursday, May 26. Alex, who recently earned his degree in Secondary Education, has accepted a position in Memphis, Tennessee with Teach for America, an organization dedicated to strengthen educational equality and excellence around the country. He has been accepted into the Teach For America – Johns Hopkins University Partnership and will participate in a 2 year Master of Science in Education program, while also teaching high school English.
Alex joined the Camp NAC team last year as a Camp Manager on our leadership team. His main focus for both last summer and this upcoming summer was on full day specialty camps. Every specialty camp was planned and designed by Alex, and during the summer it was his job to make sure everything ran smoothly. Campers and staff both loved Alex’s enthusiastic and fun attitude.
While the Camp NAC team is very sad to see Alex go, we are so happy for him and wish him the best of luck on this exciting new adventure. We are sure that he will make a positive impact on all of his future students, just as he has with all of his Camp NAC campers. Good luck to our camp manager Alex, you will be missed!
