Top 10 Things Happening this Summer at Camp (#10)
There are 10 days left until the start of Camp NAC’s summer! To countdown these last few days, we are sharing the top 10 things happening this summer at Camp NAC. Keep checking in every day for the next 10 days to see what we have in store for our lucky campers this summer.
10. New Location in the NAC Sports Training Center!
The first big change coming to Camp NAC this summer is our move to a new facility. Our staff is really excited to be able to provide our campers with their own separate space for the first time ever. Camp NAC will now be located in the NAC Sports Training Center (NSTC), a 30,000 square foot facility that is fully turfed and ready for fun!
All camp activities will mainly be run out of the Big Leagues side of the building. This facility will allow parents to take full advantage of express drop off and pick up, quicker check-in and check-out procedures, as well as providing campers with their own space for all their camp activities. Certain camps will also be able to utilize space in the new classrooms that will be located on the second floor of the facility for special activities.
In addition to the new location, Camp NAC also has full use of other Newtown Athletic Club facilities, including the Outdoor Pool Complex. All full day and half day campers enrolled in Mid-day Care will have the opportunity to swim in the NAC’s outdoor pool complex, which includes two water slides, a water gymnasium, a lazy river, and a splash pad.
