CampCrew: Meet Jon

Every Wednesday, we feature a member of our Camp Crew! We love our team members and counselors and want our parents and campers to get familiar with our staff.
Our featured member this week is one of our returning team members, Jon  Bambert. This is Jon’s second summer at Camp NAC and he is enjoying every second of it! He is a specialty camp counselor. Jon loves playing all the games with his campers, and loves teaching his campers new experiments and lessons.
 
1)    What are you most excited for this summer at Camp NAC?
I’m most excited to be able to act like a camper again. It’s so much fun working at a camp where you get to let your childish side out and act like a kid.
 
2)    What is your favorite camp memory?
My favorite camp memory was during mad scientist camp when we were showing the campers the different experiments! They were so amazed with what can be done with science and were so interested to learn what made the experiment work.
 
3)    If you were a camper, which Camp NAC camp would you want to enroll in & why?
If I were a camper I would enroll in robotics K’NEX camp. I love to create and do problem solving! Building K’NEX there are so many different things you can build! It is also so satisfying when you finish your creation and everything works with the robotics.
Jon is looking forward to the rest of his time here, and never wants summer to end!
