Welcome from Camp Director Amanda Brown
Dear Camp Parents & Future Campers,
If I haven’t already met you, my name is Amanda Brown and I am the Executive Youth Programs Director for the Newtown Athletic Club. In this position, I oversee all of the children’s programming at the NAC, including Camp NAC. This will be my tenth summer on the Camp NAC team and I couldn’t be more excited to welcome all of our new and returning campers.
This has been a really exciting year for the Camp NAC team. Camp NAC was voted the best camp in Bucks County on the 2016 Happening List from Bucks Happening. Our leadership team was so excited to be recognized for all the hard work we put into making summer better for all of our awesome campers. We can’t wait to continue to exceed the expectations of our campers and parents.
Our team has so much planned for this upcoming summer for all of the camps and programs we offer. My main priority through all of the programming here at Camp NAC is to make sure that all of our campers have an unforgettable experience.
For the Summer 2016 season, we are excited for our second summer in the NAC Sports Training Center. The move to the 40,000 square foot facility last year was amazing for our campers to have a separate space throughout the summer. And we know that our campers love swimming in the amazing outdoor pool complex.
This summer comes packed full of new specialty camps, including Splash and Sport, Adventure Artists, NACtive Gaming, AbracaNAC, and more! Campers will be able to make new friends and explore their interests in our week-long themed camps. We have also added on a Summer Enrichment after-camp program for campers to get help with their school summer packets.
The start of summer with both new and returning campers and staff is always an exciting time. I am thrilled that many of our awesome staff members will be joining us for another summer. We have been working hard to ensure that our staff is well equipped to provide your camper with a safe and fun environment here at Camp NAC.
I am always available for any questions, concerns or suggestions that you may have. We are looking forward to meeting all of our campers within the next few weeks as we prepare for a summer of fun here at Camp NAC!
