#CampCrew: Meet Maria

Every Wednesday, we feature a member of our Camp Crew! We love our team members and counselors and want our parents and campers to get familiar with our staff.
Our featured member this week is one of our new camp Administrative Assistants, Maria Gdovin. She graduated from Holy Family with my Masters in PreK-4th grade education in May.  She just earned a full time second grade teaching position at St. Dominic’s in Northeast Philadelphia!

1)    What are you most excited for this summer at Camp NAC?
Since it’s my first year at Camp NAC, I’m excited to experience what all the buzz is about!  I’m excited to meet the campers and families as well as the staff!

2)   What is your favorite camp memory?
When I was younger, I attended soccer camp and overnight camp.  My favorite memory was learning how shoot a bow in archery and making new friends!  I always loved sitting with my bunk and playing games as well.  I always came home with the best friends.

3)   If you were a camper, which Camp NAC camp would you want to enroll in & why?
I would either enroll in Aqua Art because of all the fun games they played or Baking Bootcamp because I LOVE to bake! However, my all time favorite camp is soccer.  I’ve played since I was 5 and always enjoy playing!

We are excited to have Maria as part of our team! We know she will share all of her experience with the rest of the staff! If you have any questions for Maria you can reach her at info@campnac.com
