Camp Catch Up: Week 11

All of our campers had an awesome week during Week 11 of camp! This week of camp was a ton of fun, filled with activities including Wild West Day, mini makeovers, a fashion show and more! See what our campers enjoyed during the eleventh week here at the best camp in Bucks County.
Half Day Specialty
The half day specialty camps offered this week were It’s a Girl Thing and Let Boys be Boys
Our half day Let Boys be Boys campers had a ton of fun this week getting down and dirty and doing all the things little boys love! From fun sports games to awesome crafts, these energetic boys were having nonstop fun.
It was a girly girl’s dream this week at Camp NAC in half day It’s a Girl Thing camp. These little campers had so much fun doing what girls do best, including mini makeovers, a trip to the salon, cupcake baking and more!
Full Day Specialty
The full day specialty camps offered this week were Boys Rule, Myth Busters and Project Runway.
Boys Rule camp was full of rambunctious boys ready to have some fun! Campers had so much fun all week long participating in sports competitions, relay races and creating cool crafts like paper airplanes. They ended the week with a muddy slip n’ slide!
Project Runway campers spent the week working on their Summer 2016 collections and learning how to strut their stuff down the runway. Campers designed their own tote bags and t-shirts to wear at the end of the week fashion show for all their parents. Then, they showed off their favorite poses in a mini photoshoot.
Campers in Myth Busters camp spent the week testing out some of the most popular and common myths. These campers tried to see if they could make a watermelon explode, if Pop Rocks explode in soda and more! The results were always a surprise!
Sports Camps
This week’s sports camps were Basketball and Gymnastics.
Campers worked hard on their basketball skills during this week of basketball camp. They spent the week practicing dribbling, passing, shooting and more. Campers loved playing in scrimmages and fun basketball games like knockout and more.
Gymnastics campers spent the week tumbling and learning new skills on all pieces of gymnastics equipment. Campers worked on bars, beam, floor, vault, tumble trak, and more. Campers even got a training session from Parisi to work on speed and agility.
Teen Camps
Our Teen Travel campers went on one fun field trip this week to Six Flags Great Adventure! Campers had a blast riding on tons of fun rides. On Friday, Teen Travel campers also held the annual Camp Car Wash to raise money for ALS research and Matt’s Mission!
This week, LITs had a blast learning all about this week’s theme – Job Skills. LITs worked with younger campers each day to learn what kind of skills it takes to be a camp counselor. In addition, LITs held the annual Camp Car Wash to raise money for ALS and Matt’s Mission! Great job!
NACster
Our NACster campers follow an activity calendar with different themed days each week.
On Monday, campers battled it out during Tug of War day!
Tuesday was Wild Wild West day, and campers got to play cowboys and indians, relay races with horses and more!
Wednesday campers took a field trip to Giggleberry Fair. Campers explored through interactive play and had a ton of fun.
Thursday, campers faced off against their favorite counselors in Kids vs. Counselors competitions.
The annual Camp Carnival was the highlight on Friday. Campers played fun carnival games and then the End of Summer Carnival was from 3:30-6:30PM at the outdoor pool to celebrate a fun summer.

NAC STARS
Our NAC STARS for Week 11 were Adam from Camp NACster and Maya from Myth Busters!
Our boy camper of the week is Adam from Camp NACster. This was Adam’s first week at Camp NAC ever and he has done a great job so far making friends and being a model camper.
Our girl camper of the week is Maya from Myth Busters. Maya did a great job listening to her counselors during her first week of camp.
This week’s counselor of the week is Miss Madison! Miss Madison is always a great friend to her fellow counselors and does a great job having fun with her awesome campers. Miss Madison was with Myth Busters camp this week and had so much fun busting up some common myths.
